Stitch sampler

Here is a small piece that I created in Mary Ruth Smith’s workshop. It’s an applique piece with French knots, back stitching, blanket stitching and knotless netting.

The black stitches off to the side are a product of one of my attempts to sew the feather stitch. It sounded and looked easy when Mary Ruth demonstrated it. It took me several tries to get the hang of it.
