things aren't always as they seem

I was perusing the Redbox movie offerings the other day, looking for a movie for the weekend. On the Redbox web site, they have five categories: Drama, Comedy, Action, Family, Horror. If these are too limiting, you can use the “All” button and view the titles that way.

In the Action category, I was surprised to see Gnomeo & Juliet, Yogi Bear, Tangled and The Little Engine That Could, which are animated movies. This points out to me that they don’t have an animated movie category. In the Drama category, they have Biutiful, a Spanish film and The Girl Who Played With Fire, from Sweden. (The American version of The Girl Who Played With Fire will be released in December 2011, I think.) A foreign film category would be nice, but they don’t have that either.

I do like that you can make an online reservation for a movie and that you can return a movie to any Redbox anywhere. Now that’s customer service.
