Native American spearhead

Spearhead

Here is the oldest item that I have, a Native American spearhead. I found it out in the pasture about 10 years ago. It probably is from the Tonkawa tribe, no later than the mid-1800s (when guns replaced bows and arrows and spears).

Sometimes I go out into the pasture and just spend some time imagining the lives of the people who made spearheads like this one. In the shadows, I look for a memory of that time gone by.
