things aren't always as they seem

I’ve been counting my posts for Postaday2011, so that at the end of the year I’ll know which blog post was which, number-wise. I end each post with “Postaday2011 #[n].”

In January 2011, that was easy. Whatever the date was, was the post number. In February, just add 31 to the date and that’s the post number. For each month, I guess I could do the same and add [n] to the date. In March, I could add 59 days to the date to get my post number. In April, add 90 days.

Or I could use a Julian calendar. I’ve booked marked one. Not sure which method I’ll use, after February.

Who says we don’t use math in our daily lives? Of course we do.

Postaday2011 #38 (I hope)
